An LED is the most common light source. A single LED can illuminate up to 4.0" wide. Wider panels require multiple LED's. Any common LED can be used and the panels can be customized to accept some especial LED's. ShanBen carries 5 standard LED's which are optimized to this product. They are White, Green, Blue, Amber and Red.
